Joy Beless – Her story & family
Joy is a life-long worshipper. Her earliest memories are singing in the fields of her grandparent’s farm. After launching four children, Joy began a worship ministry, The Invitation Project – leading worship at local and global retreats and producing lyric videos for personal and small group worship.
Through her father’s long and difficult illness, she began to search out deeper spiritual practices to connect with God and strengthen her faith. As a spiritual director she enjoys seeing people individually and hosting retreats, encouraging them in their spiritual journey.
Currently living in the Dallas area – she loves being JoJo to eleven grandchildren and leading chapel at a homeless shelter for women and children. She speaks and leads workshops to encourage others in deepening spiritual practices based on God’s Word. She enjoys songwriting and encouraging flowers to grow in the Texas heat.
Joy and her husband Roger care for her grandparent’s fields and enjoy inviting others to rest and live lightly at B-Still Ranch. She would like to hear from you and learn how she can encourage you in your faith journey.

Retreats at Joy’s B-Still Ranch provide time to be with God, reflect and rest, in the serene environment of B-Still Ranch.
